Lunar New Year Festival
January 14, 2012 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Ring in the Year of the Dragon with Pacific Asia Museum's second annual Lunar New Year Festival! Enjoy performances, crafts, demonstrations and more in our courtyard, auditorium and a fully tented parking lot. Visiting artists from Jiangsu province, China, will also be present giving demonstrations and performances. Food and drink available from several food trucks including the Nom Nom Truck, the Boba Truck, and Paradise Cookies.

Held three times a year, afternoon Family Festivals are some of our most popular events! In addition to free admission to the galleries, visitors of all ages enjoy live music, crafts, cultural dance, demonstrations and hands-on activities.

Journeys: the Silk Road
A fun hands-on exploration of the legendary Silk Road. Dress up as a trader, monk, camel handler, dancer, artisan or silk maker, plan your journey on the maps, relax in a tent, touch real silkworm cocoons, and more.
Silk Road Story Time
Gather in the travelers’ tent for fabulous tales from along the Silk Road, plus a fun hands-on craft, Asian snack, and balloon. Held on the first Saturday of each month at 10:30am; call to confirm if a holiday weekend. Free to members, or $10 per family.
