New Board Member: Peter
Sartin
Peter Sartin is a trial lawyer who lives in Pasadena. Prior to practicing
law in Dallas, Texas from 1981 to 2001, Peter worked for the Department
of Justice in Washington D.C. and Corning Glass Works in New York.
Peter graduated from the University of Michigan with a B.A. in economics
and has a law degree from The American University. He and his wife
Linda are avid art collectors and are loaning several works from
their collection to the upcoming Tibetan furniture exhibition, Wooden
Wonders. The Sartins have two children. Pacific Asia Museum welcomes
Peter Sartin to the Board of Trustees.
In Memoriam
The museum is saddened to report the death of one of its loyal and
supportive members Louisa Martineau. Louisa, a museum Overseer,
was married to the late Glen Martineau, a long time Trustee of Pacific
Asia Museum in the late 1970s and early 1980s. She will be deeply
missed by all of us at the museum.
