COLLECTORS' CIRCLE

The Collectors’ Circle is a select group for people who are interested in Asian art collecting, art conservation and the inner workings of the Asian art world. Led by the Executive Director with support from the curatorial staff, the Collectors’ Circle meets at least four times per year for special events and programs. These events and programs include the Annual Purchase Party, private receptions with visiting dealers and auction house experts; special visits to other museums and private collections; hands-on learning sessions featuring objects from USC Pacific Asia Museum collection; and “show and tell” exchanges with other Collectors’ Circle members.

Membership in the Collectors’ Circle
Membership in the Collectors’ Circle begins at $2,000 per year for individuals, $3,000 per year for couples. Collectors’ Circle membership is open to museum members at the Plum Blossom level ($500/year) and above. The total amount raised through Collectors’ Circle membership dues is allocated as follows:

50% supports the Annual Purchase Party acquisition
40% supports the care and maintenance of the permanent collection
10% supports the group’s activities and programs

The Collectors Circle offers a rare opportunity for members to share their passion for and knowledge of Asian art with other like-minded people and leading experts in the field. Participation is key to the success of the Collectors’ Circle, so members are encouraged to spread the word and recruit new people to join this exciting group.
