Fusion Friday
Crash it and Smash it like Ai Weiwei during a night of art, music and fun! Groove under the stars to the signature blend of eclectic and worldly sounds by DJ Rani De Leon, create art using repurposed ceramics with mosaic artist Leigh Adams, design and fire your own tea cup with artist Dave Lovejoy, delicious food truck dining, and Asian style cocktails at the cash bar. Galleries are open all night with special tours of our featured exhibition, Reshaping Tradition: Contemporary Ceramics from East Asia.

Tickets are $15 for non-members, museum members are free.

Harvest Moon Festival
Join us for our 4th Annual Harvest Moon Festival. Explore the artistic ways that China, Vietnam, Korea and Japan celebrate the mid-autumn full moon and the bountiful harvest through art activities, food tastings, performances, and film. Create a Vietnamese lantern, design and paint a Korean fan, sample delicious moon cakes, listen to traditional Chinese music from SINO US Performing Arts Organization, and enjoy a screening of Studio Ghibli's animated film, The Tale of the Princess Kaguya. After the sun sets, join the Sidewalk Astronomers for outdoor moon-gazing. Galleries are open all night. Good fun for the whole family!
