Member Lecture Series at Pacific Asia Museum
We are pleased to announce the creation of an exclusive member’s
only lecture program for 2006.
Included will be lectures by local and national scholars and collectors
of Asian art. Subjects will
include: Southeast Asian ceramics, Indian paintings, Japanese Buddhist
art, Oriental rugs and
Chinese Furniture. This series was made possible through a generous
gift from Dr. George W.
Housner in honor of David Kamansky.

Museum Associates Trip to Washington D.C.
The Museum Associates will be visiting Washington,
D.C. in an exclusive trip to the Freer and
Sackler Galleries from April 5th-9th to coincide with cherry
blossom season. Members will tour
Freer and Tea: 100 Years of the Book of
Tea, Artists of Edo: 1800-1850, Hiroshi Sugimoto: History of
History, and Hokusai, an important exhibition co-organized by
the Nihon Keizai Shimbun, Inc., in
cooperation with the Tokyo National Museum. The tour will also
include a rare behind the scenes
view of the Freer and Sackler’s collections. For more information
