Gala
Fundraiser:
26th annual
2003 Festival of the Autumn Moon
Proving once again that Pacific Asia Museum is the authority on wonderful
parties, guests adorned in their finest Asian costumes and black-tie attire
gathered on October 4th for the 26th Annual Festival of the Autumn Moon.
This year’s Festival broke all fundraising and attendance records,
with nearly 900 guests and over 450 auction items. The Museum was pleased
to honor best-selling author Helie Lee and Benjamin Hong, CEO of Nara
Bank, for their many outstanding achievements.
In addition, Peg and Everett Palmer and Ralph and Angelyn Riffenburgh
were recognized for their substantial support of Pacific Asia Museum throughout
the years. The highlights of the evening included a costume contest, balloon
drop, dancing until midnight and the popular “Green Dragon”
martinis.
