Want to bring your students?

Pacific Asia Museum provides tours and workshops to all schools at no cost. Students grades 3 through 12 enjoy a one hour docent-led tour of the museum’s art galleries and courtyard plus a one hour hands-on workshop taught by a local artist. Workshop activities include calligraphy, mandalas, brush painting, origami, story telling, fan making, and drawing. Student and youth groups must be chaperoned at all times. Chaperones are responsible for conduct and adherence to rules of proper behavior; a minimum of one chaperone per 10 children is required.

School tours are offered Wednesday - Friday. Please book your student tour at least 4 weeks in advance of your visit. For more information or to reserve a tour, please call (626) 449-2742 ext. 23 or e-mail tours@pacificasiamuseum.org

Please note that student tours are currently booked through April 2012. We encourage all interested student groups to book as early as possible to secure a date.

Want to bring your group?

One hour docent-led tours of the museum may be scheduled for groups of 10 to 60 people, Wednesday through Friday. Group and senior rates available. Please call (626) 449-2742 ext. 23 to reserve, or e-mail tours@pacificasiamuseum.org

If your group visit is self guided and you will be exploring the museum without a docent, we ask that you still make a reservation. This helps ensure no other large groups are scheduled at the same time, possibly interfering with your group’s enjoyment of the museum.
